In it, I’ll show you how to turn a door hanger template into a beautiful canvas painting with just a few simple tools. With these templates, you AND the kiddos can have something to keep you busy until the sun shines again. Let’s check them out!
But First: How to transfer your design onto a canvas
Before you get started, you’ll need to gather your supplies! Here’s a quick list to have on hand:
- The door hanger template of your choosing
- 1/2 inch flat tip brush
- Filbert tip brush
- Liner brush
- Artistro Acrylic Paint Markers
- Sponge Pouncer
- Posca Paint Pens
- Canvas
- Graphite paper (or carbon paper)
The next step is easy — all you need to do is print out your template and trace it onto your canvas using graphite paper. From there, you can fill in the lines with your paint.
