In September, we hosted a door hanger challenge for Fall that was all about our members front porches! We had them start with a door hanger template as their base design, then they created two more coordinating items for their entryway. This could have been a porch leaner, banner, another door hanger, attachments to add to planters, or so much more. There are so many options to how you can use a template and I was so excited to see how they used theirs.
Mellynie’s “Boo Babe” Themed Porch
Mellynie Johnson got in on the fun front door challenge for last month and she did so good! She started with the Boo Babe door hanger which she says is her new favorite! The directional sign with arrows was made with arrows from the Dollar Tree, a 5 gallon paint stick, and vinyl – how creative! The “Boo” and “Eek” door hanger area also from the Dollar Tree! She painted them and added glitter to the Boo on and splatter paint to the Eek! Great job Mellynie!
Chellsee’s Fall Themed Porch
Chellsee Arneson is another PC Sister that got in on this fun challenge! She said that she struggled to find a third item to create so she added the Triple Pumpkin Fall door hanger to the top of her pumpkins to make them look like a stack, how creative! I love how she uses a template for her porch leaner and a beautiful door hanger that we’ve painted together recently. She knocked this challenge out of the park, beautiful porch Chellsee!
Deana’s Festive Porch
Deana Clingerman sure does have a festive porch and I love how she weaved some painted pumpkins into her fall garland! Such a cleaver idea. She has a beautiful stacked pumpkin porch leaner beside her front door and a door hanger to the left that has been a popular one in the Clubhouse. I am loving all the fall colors!
Nina’s Pumpkin Themed Porch
Nina Sellers-Sharp says she typically doesn’t decorate for Fall until October but she decorated early to participate in the fun challenge. She used all pumpkin designs from The Painter’s Clubhouse and she has bows that coordinate. I love how she made a sign for her flower garden too! It looks perfect!
Linda’s Fall Garden
PC Sister, Linda Helser shares her creativity during this door hanger challenge. The sunflower and pumpkin trio door hangers have metal stakes holding them up in front of her home. For the sunflower, Linda made cloth leaves to make it look more like a real sunflower. She did such a great job, I love it so much!
