OPENING CEREMONY

Let’s kick off a week of painting together! I’ll walk through exactly what to do, and I’m even going to show you how to trace your template live.

WORKSHOP DAY 1

April 14th at 7pm CST

Get your supplies ready — it’s time to paint! Together, we’ll cover the basics like the base coat, tracing your template on top of it, and a few of the more detailed pieces.

WORKSHOP DAY 2

April 16th at 7pm CST

In day 2, we’ll cover the more detailed pieces, like our adorable flamingo. We’ll also add the finishing touches that will make your door hanger shine!

CLOSING CEREMONY

April 23rd at 6pm CST

We want to celebrate what you’ve accomplished! You can submit photos of your finished door hangers and be entered to win a few special prizes at the end!

Are the supplies included?

The door hanger template and supply list are included in your workshop ticket. However, we do have a workshop kit available for purchase if you want to make your painting experience even easier! https://shopdoorhangers.com/products/hello-sunshine-workshop-kit

You don’t need the kit to participate, but it saves you time gathering your supplies — everything ships to your door!

Do I experience to participate?

Absolutely not! This workshop is beginner-friendly, and I’ll walk you through each step so you know what to do.

How do the live tutorials work?

After you sign up for the workshop, I’ll send you a link to join us virtually on April 14th and 16th. All you need to do is click the link and you can tune in!

Have questions in real time? You can drop them in our live chat during the tutorials, or in our Facebook group. I’ll be there to help, and so will our team (not to mention, other participants will be there to help you out too! Our community is one of the friendliest around).

Meet the Host:

I’m Tamara, owner of Southern Adoornments Decor. I can hardly believe this is our sixth year doing Southern Adoornments Live. 

The first two years, we traveled to Nashville, then to Dallas, then to Destin. Regardless of where we’ve been, these events have one thing in common, each and every time.

Friendship forged over a love of crafting!

These events bring together women who have already become friends online through one of our memberships. They bond over a mutual love of painting door hangers, and years later, many of those attendees are still friends today!

Because it’s not just about crafts or painting. It’s the sisterhood, the bonding over breakfast, or laughing together in pajamas that make these events so special.

And it’s exactly why I started the annual Southern Adoornments Live event.

I wanted to bring together these amazing women who had brought so much joy into my own life. I wanted to help them connect with one another and create lifelong friendships.

And years later, this event is something that these ladies and I look forward to as a chance to reconnect.
