Southern Adoornments Live is an in-person retreat that’s jam-packed with amazing crafts and painting projects designed to take your door-hanger-making skills to the next level. You’ll learn new techniques that can be applied to anything you wish to create in the future.
Plus, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet other crafters, decompress and enjoy yourself, and tap into your creativity — something we all need! Even if you’re new to crafting and door hanger making, this retreat has something for you.

Workshops to Build Your Painting Skills
Treat yourself to two glorious days of workshops where you’ll learn new painting techniques and tricks that’ll boost your confidence and your crafts.
Most of our activities will be geared toward door hangers, but there will also be chances to paint ceramics, canvases, and more.
Crafter Connections & Group Workshops
Make connections with others who are likely to become lifelong friends! Between mealtimes, exploring the city, and attending our craft workshops, this is where deep friendships are made!
Coming alone? You may feel nervous, but the minute you step foot inside, you’ll find that you’re not alone at all!
By the end of the day, you’ll be painting in your pajamas, laughing til your sides hurt, and feeling more connected than you ever thought possible. These people will only be “strangers” for a few hours.
Plus, once you buy your ticket, you’ll be invited to join our private Facebook group, where you can meet attendees and alums in a no-pressure setting.

With a little practice and inspiration, ANYONE can paint.

I’m Tamara!
And this is our FOURTH year doing Southern Adoornments Live. I can hardly believe it!
The first two years, we traveled to Nashville, then to Dallas, then to Destin. Regardless of where we’ve been, these events have one thing in common, each and every time.
Friendship forged over a love of crafting!
These events bring together women who have already become friends online through one of our memberships. They bond over a mutual love of painting door hangers, and years later, many of those attendees are still friends today!
Because it’s not just about crafts or painting. It’s the sisterhood, the bonding over breakfast, or laughing together in pajamas that make these events so special.
And it’s exactly why I started the annual Southern Adoornments Live event.
I wanted to bring together these amazing women who had brought so much joy into my own life. I wanted to help them connect with one another and create lifelong friendships.
And years later, this event is something that these ladies and I look forward to as a chance to reconnect.
