I purchase RevolutionPly from Lowes. It is a ¼” or 5mm Poplar Plywood Underlayment.

With the right blades this little jigsaw will cut your door hangers with ease! The quick release feature blade changing is a breeze too! These blades will make cutting intricate shapes so much easier! You can make tight turns and reduce wood splintering!
I’ve use this sander for almost 3 years now and I still love it! The sanding pads are Velcro, the pointed tip lets you get in tight places and it’s easy to hold! I use 80 grit.
Burlap & Jute String
I use so much jute string! I use it to create my bows and it’s the string that I hang my door hangers with! I have a tutorial for how to make the cutest bows using this burlap as a base.
If you prefer to “write out” your hand lettering before painting it, these pencils are great! The white charcoal doesn’t show through the paint like pencil does!
Apple Barrel Paint
I use Apple Barrel paint on all of my projects! If you are looking to buy a few colors and need a good variety, I found this 18 color set of their most popular colors for you!
Stencil Blank Material
This material is perfect to cut on a Cricut or Silhouette machine to make your own stencils! I have stencil cut files available in my shop here.
Protective Spray Sealer
I prefer to use Rustoleum Lacquer to spray all of my projects! It has a nice even shine! If your door hanger is going to be exposed to a lot of weather and rain, then I recommend that you seal BOTH sides for extra protection!
If you struggle with outlining or adding cute details to door hangers, try these refillable writer bottles! You can just squeeze the paint out as you go! It’s quick and easy!
