November 2023 PC Recap

by | Dec 14, 2023

We’ve started doing a Painter’s Clubhouse Showcase on my Facebook Page once a month to give our community a peak at what happens inside the Painter’s Clubhouse membership. There are some very talented artists in this community and I love to show them off. We had such a busy November in the Painter’s Clubhouse as we had three amazing guest artists for the month. We’ll call it our early Christmas celebration because typically we only have one. Let’s dive right in to what we did!

Traci Gibson’s DTF Transfer Technique

Traci Gibson of Print Cut Craft was our first guest artist of the month teaching us a fun technique featuring DTF Transfer. She taught us how to take a design that we’ve painted before and scale it down to be printed on an ornament using DTF transfer print outs. Once you have your print out you iron it onto a piece of wood using a household iron of heat press. Seriously, it was so cool and I loved seeing a design come to life!

Cheery Snowman Door Hanger

Pam Savage of Young at Heart Creations has shared her talents with us several times over the years and to know her is to love her. She shared how to paint the Cheery Snowman in the Painter’s Clubhouse this month and I absolutely love how it turned out.

Mistletoe Santa Door Hanger

I taught this adorable design in Painter’s Clubhouse in November and it was so much fun! We incorporated various techniques in this door hanger including leopard print, a drop shadowing technique on the lettering, and some shading on the beard of Santa. One door hanger with three new techniques! It’s so much fun and a great example of how we’re always trying new techniques in the Painter’s Clubhouse.

Gingerbread House REMIX Door Hanger

Laurie Speltz, The Creative Coach taught in the Painter’s Clubhouse for the first time in November and it was so much fun! I actually taught this design for the first time a few years ago and it was so much fun to bring Laurie in and have her paint this design in her own unique way. She taught some really cool shading techniques that help to deepen the visual effect of a door hanger.

See What our Members are Painting

There are so many talented PC Sisters that are part of our Painter’s Clubhouse membership and I just have to show off some of their beautiful work. One of the really great things about the Painter’s Clubhouse is the community that it provides. With so many talented artists, you can find inspiration and encouragement from PC Sisters in the group!

Looking Ahead to December

Wondering what designs are coming up in the Painter’s Clubhouse this month? Well let me show you! We are featuring some fun and festive door hangers that will carry us into the new year. I am so excited, I can hardly wait!
