December might’ve been the month of Christmas, but in the Painter’s Clubhouse we were planning ahead. We had such a great month painting some Valentine’s Day themed door hangers and a door hanger remix that is perfect for Winter. The Painter’s Clubhouse is a great place for someone wanting to learn new techniques and perfect their painting skills. Let’s dive in to our month together!
Valentine Love Bug Car
I had so much fun painting this car together! We learned how to distress the car using pink paint and a chip brush and it turned out adorable! One of my favorite parts of this door hanger are the subtle details of the lip and heart banner that just add a little more to the design.
A Latte Love with Jennifer Raiden
Every month I like to bring in a guest artist to teach a tutorial in the Painter’s Clubhouse. It’s so fun getting other artists’ perspectives and learning new techniques from them. Jennifer Raiden was our guest artist in the Painter’s Clubhouse for December. She knocked it out of the park with this latte door hanger. I absolutely love how she incorporated glitter in this piece! The finishing touch of the bow is just the icing on the cake!
Snowbird REMIX
Every month I take an old design and figure out a way to remix, or completely change it up! This month it was the snowbird and I love how it turned out. The sweater detail on the beanie and the faux fur I added to the poof are so cute and really made this piece. Originally this snowbird was blue, but I love this remix that we created together!

There are so many talented PC Sisters that are part of our Painter’s Clubhouse membership and I just have to show off some of their beautiful work. One of the really great things about the Painter’s Clubhouse is the community that it provides. With so many talented artists, you can find inspiration and encouragement from PC Sisters in the group!
