What is Big Box of Blanks?

The Big Box of Blanks is a quarterly subscription box that is delivered right to your doorstep! Each box features three 18-inch wood blanks that are sanded and ready-to-paint, a full-color supply list, and a video tutorial. I love that this subscription make creativity convenient for subscribers while taking the hassle out of going to the craft store!

July Design – Sunflowers in a Milk Can

I love this door hanger, it can take you from Summer all the way into Fall, which will be here before we know it! This tutorial is so fun because I taught how to highlight the flowers and add foil to your door hanger. The foil technique is a game changer in the final design of this door hanger!

August Design – Candy Corn Trio

This Candy Corn Trio door hanger is a great tutorial for a beginner painter as an etched blank makes this design super easy to complete. I taught how to hand letter your door hanger and how to add dimension by creating a splatter effect on your door hanger. The splatter paint really makes this door hanger pop! This one is perfect for a not-so-scary Halloween door hanger.

September Design – Fall Grateful

This Fall Grateful door hangers is the final door hanger for the Big Box of Blanks subscription for this quarter, but it’s still such a fun one! I love the thought of using it after Halloween to take you into Thanksgiving! It’s also a really great door hanger for a beginner painter as I teach how to add dimension by creating a shading effect on the door hanger. I am so excited for Fall after this one.
