Is there anything cuter and sweeter than a newborn baby? Tiny baby fingers and tiny baby toes. Sigh. When celebrating the arrival of precious bundles of joy, personalized painted wooden signs for the baby are a perfect way to say “welcome home.”
We’re going to spend some time today oohing and ahhing over painted wooden signs for babies. Because – I’m going to warn you – these are precious! And one of the truly fabulous things I’m going to share with you is that nearly any wooden door hanger can be turned into a painted sign for a baby with a couple added touches. Don’t worry… I’ll show you how!

Or, a printable template and digital cut file that you can use with PDF, SVG, etc to cut your own wooden sign at home! (Not sure what the difference is between them? Don’t worry about finding a painted wooden sign to match your chosen nursery decor. Almost any door hanger can be adapted to become a personalized baby nursery sign. Simply attach a smaller wood piece, such as our 6″ classic frame, to an existing door hanger. Use some cute matching ribbon, twine, or even glue to add your small extra piece to customize it!
